Rabita Baku finished third at the Errea Cup, defeating Igtisadchi in the third place match 3:1 (25:8, 25:14, 22:25, 25:12).
Igtisadchi, however, played the match without its setters Argentinian Yael Castiglione, who suffered from acute appendicitis and was admitted to the hospital, and German Kathleen Weiss, who is currently with the German national team in a training camp before the World championship.
Both teams will stay in Turkey for more tune-up games, with Rabita Baku having two confirmed friendlies against Turkish national team on October 5th and 7th.
In the final game of the Errea Cup, Eczacibasi beat Vakifbank Gunes 3:2 (25:21, 22:25, 25:23, 17:25, 15:9).
